Upvote the Album of the Year winners that you think are underrated and under appreciated.

Since 1959, only one album from each year can claim that it was bestowed with Album of the Year honors by the Grammys. While many of these albums were rightful winners, not all get the respect they deserve. This means that though they took home the night's big prize, overall, they haven't been remembered fondly, or history has ignored them in favor of other full-lengths that were released that year. Other albums are properly rated as outstanding works and in some cases, Album of the Year winners are actually overrated.

So, which album of the year winners are underrated or under appreciated? With the slew of fantastic albums on this list, that isn't necessarily the easiest question to answer. But what you will see on this list are a slew of familiar and popular names. The likes of Frank Sinatra, U2, Norah Jones, Judy Garland, Stevie Wonder, and Adele have all taken home the Grammy for Album of the Year. Now it's up to you to decide whether, despite the big win, these albums were still underrated.

So, the ball is in your court when it comes to determining the most underrated Album of the Year Grammy winner. Vote for the albums that you think are the most underrated, and give a thumbs down to the albums that you think are overrated.
