Of all the modern options for where to play a FPS, Nintendo Switch is likely the last console to come to mind. However, that doesn't mean there aren't some amazing FPS games on Switch, especially given that the Nintendo-exclusive Metroid Prime Remastered lives on the console (with Metroid Prime 4 hopefully joining it soon!) Games like Doom Eternal actually run fantastically on Switch as well, and seeing your enemies up close in handheld mode can sometimes make these games slightly easier than sitting further away from the screen. As you see titles that are featured on this list, it will become clear that multiplayer FPS on Switch are not really the move, but rather single player experiences.

Based on user scores, critic reviews, sales, and overall word of mouth, these are the best Nintendo Switch FPS games you can find on the console today, and the coolest part is that the list is ranked and ordered according to your votes.
