If you want to test your movie trivia skills, Reddit's r/ExplainAFilmPlotBadly is a fun guessing game in which Redditors describe a movie in an intentionally deceptive way to see if anyone can figure out their riddles. 

Sometimes the clue is vague enough to sound like another movie, such as “In pursuit of ultimate power, a purple being must have a young woman sacrifice. At the end of the film, the purple being achieves ultimate power, but is severely wounded in the chest by a vengeful prince.” (It sounds an awful lot like Infinity Wars, but it's actually The Little Mermaid.) Other times, family-friendly films are described in a way that makes them sound R-rated, such as “Man is forced to participate in the rescue of a hostage by the government, that has turned his residence into a refugee camp.” (Shrek.)
