Vote up the dates you're sick of seeing on the long-running series.

Any dedicated member of #BachelorNation can recite the most common type of dates seen on The Bachelor at a moment’s notice. Every season is bound to include multiple private concerts, at least one awkward wedding-themed outing, and more hot tubs than you can count.

While the typical dates on The Bachelor tend to involve a lot of skin (like “sexy photo shoot date” or “pool party date”), outings on The Bachelorette lean towards the romantic (for example, performing poetry or strolling through a local market). The things that they all have in common? They're sometimes fun, and always lead to drama, but they definitely get old after a while.

    The Wedding-Themed Date

The whole point of The Bachelor/ette is to find love and get married, so it makes sense that weddings are a regular conversation topic. That also means weddings sometimes come into play on dates.

On JoJo's season of The Bachelorette, the guys on one group date even had to craft actual proposals and then get down on one knee in front of everybody.

    The Public Concert Date

At least a few times per season, a one-on-one date on The Bachelor or Bachelorette ends with the couple running into a concert hall where a band is playing to a packed crowd. There's usually a raised platform in the center of crowd built just for them, where the duo dances, kisses, and whispers to each other as if they're totally alone - except they're not.

They're completely surrounded by strangers filming their make-out session on their phones.

    The Private Concert Date

In theory, a private concert for you and your significant other sounds pretty romantic. In practice, though, things get weird - at least, they do on The Bachelor.

The performing act is rarely a household name, but the couple pretends like they love them; they're forced to awkwardly dance for the cameras in a near-empty room; they open-mouth kiss while a semi-famous singer looks on. It's more than a little awkward.

    The Kissing Contest Date

There's already a good amount of kissing on The Bachelor and its spinoff shows, but the producers often put that show of affection on display with kissing competitions.

It's easy to see why, though: these kissing contests always lead to tears, fights, and in one case, actual vomiting.

    The Hot Tub Date

It doesn't matter if you're watching The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, or Bachelor Winter Games - if it's an episode of the Bachelor franchise, there's going to be a date that ends in a hot tub. The show is famous for always including a hot tub, no matter how remote or unnatural the locale: the woods, the mountains, even on camping trips.

There's nothing these producers won't do to turn up the heat!

The Date Where You Perform For A Crowd

Every season, the producers of The Bachelor and Bachelorette gather all the contestants for a group date where they perform in front of hundreds of strangers.

The performances range from dancing to singing to stand-up comedy, but they all have one thing in common: they get awkward fast (like when Nikki attempted to dance with K-pop group 2NE1 on Juan Pablo's season).
