Without fans, movies and television would not exist. However, sometimes fans take their fandom way too far. What happens when a fanatic wants a lot more than just the standard selfie or autograph?

A number of celebrities have spoken frankly about their creepiest fan requests. Aubrey Plaza has to deal with fans asking her to punch them in the face. One Killing Eve viewer asked Jodie Comer to pretend to strangle them for a photo op. Daniel Radcliffe was propositioned by a woman in front of her husband.

From sexual favors to violence, what do you think is the creepiest fan request story?

The Walking Dead is a zombie survival show that features numerous disturbing deaths. One of the most unsettling scenes in the series comes in the Season 4 episode called “The Grove,” where 12-year-old Lizzie (Brighton Sharbino) stabs her sister to death. She also tries to smother a baby so that the walkers don’t hear her crying.

Sharbino shared the very creepy fan request she's received from Walking Dead fans:

People will come up and have me pretend to suffocate their baby for a picture. And someone licked my hand. No one prepares you for what to do when someone licks your hand.

  • Daniel Radcliffe Was Propositioned By A Woman In Front Of Her Husband

Daniel Radcliffe played the titular boy wizard Harry Potter in eight films. The child actor made the rare successful transition to adult roles and appears in mostly smaller-budget films. He’s also shown off a chiseled grown-up physique, especially in the Broadway revival of Equus, where he performed a scene in his birthday suit.

During a 2014 interview, the actor was asked about his most uncomfortable fan interaction. He replied:

Well, I had a woman come up to me once with her husband in tow and tell me that her and her husband had one of those arrangements where if you meet this famous person, you can f*ck them. She told me that I was on her list. Her husband was also there and I was like, ‘Hey! Hey fellow! Lovely to meet you darling, but you’re not on my list I’m afraid.’

A 'Killing Eve' Fan Asked Jodie Comer To Strangle Her

In the series Killing Eve, Jodie Comer plays a cold-blooded, highly skilled assassin for hire named Villanelle. She is cunning, manipulative, and also extremely charismatic.

In a 2019 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Comer revealed one strange fan request she received:

Someone asked me for a photograph... and [I] was posing quietly. And then she just quietly whispered in my ear, ‘Will you strangle me?’ And I was like, ‘Ummm.’ My publicist was with me at the time and was like, ‘No.’

A 'Star Wars' Fan Asked Alec Guinness To Move In With Him And His Wife To Solve Their Marriage Problems

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness) is a wise Jedi Knight who serves as a mentor to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in Star Wars and helps him find the Force.

Following the massive success of Star Wars, many fans viewed Sir Alec Guinness as some kind of guru. They even wrote him letters asking for personal advice.

    Guinness explained in 1977:

I'm getting some pretty strange letters, I don’t mind telling you.

‘My wife and I have got problems, would you come over and live with us for a few months?’

  • Fans Asked Rosario Dawson To Take Pictures Of Her Feet And Send Them On Instagram

Quentin Tarantino has a well-documented foot fetish. The director lovingly frames feet in different ways in all of his movies. In 2007’s Death Proof, his camera lingers on a close-up of a barefooted Abernathy (Rosario Dawson) while she’s sitting in a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1.

Tarantino isn’t the only person with a foot fetish. Dawson told Allure in 2015 about a common fan request:

To take pictures of my feet and send it to them on Instagram. And they'll send me pictures and say, 'Look, Demi Moore did it.' And then I say, 'Good for you. Congratulations. I guess you'll have to do a still photo from my feet in Death Proof or something. That's just going to have to suffice because I'm not taking a picture of my feet and sending it to you, because it's weird.'

  • Aubrey Plaza Said A Fan Asked Her To Punch His Friend In The Face

Aubrey Plaza has made a career of playing non-humorous, seemingly aloof, sarcastic characters like April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation. April may not be as warm and friendly as her boss, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), yet she is just as loved by fans of the long-running series.

Plaza features some of April’s virtues, including a killer deadpan delivery. The actor revealed in an interview with GQ that this has led to many of her fans playing a fun game where they act like they hate her, and then in return, she acts like she hates them.

She described another type of fan:

And the third kind of fan that I have is the one that wants me to run them over with a car or punch them in the face.

She added in a 2020 interview that a fan once offered her $20 to punch his friend:

One time I was in a bar, and some guy came up to me, and he said, ‘I know this sounds weird, but will you punch my friend in the face?’
